Company history

Arnstädter Werkzeug- und Maschinenbau AG and Arnstadt-Arnshall share a long tradition.

This was the site of the first machine factory at the very dawn of the twentieth century.

The original foundation of the company is based on the following events:

1964: Foundation as an engineering office for Mechanisierung Gotha

1991: Privatisation and legal company name of Arnstädter Werkzeug- und Maschinenbau GmbH

2002: Change of corporate structure to Arnstädter Werkzeug- und Maschinenbau Aktiengesellschaft
