Milling

Our specialists create complex 3D-parts geometries taking account of economic considerations using our modern 5-axis-HSC-milling machines.

When it comes to 5-axis milling, we machine steels up to 60 HRC.

Graphite electrodes are made by robots using modern 5-axis machines.

The machines are programmed on separate workstations using CATIA V5 and VISICAD software which is then transmitted to the machine via a network connection.

Sinking

The machining of workpieces using erosion technology is one of our companies core competencies. Workpieces up to 1450 x 1100 in size can be machined using ultramodern machines.

Turning

In the CNC lathe arena, we machine steels up to 60 HRC. The machine is programmed directly on the machine.

Geometrical workpieces etc. are machined to a tolerance of one hundredth.

CNC lathes

  • Strand opening up to 90 mm
  • Chuck parts up to a diameter of 450 mm
  • Chuck parts up to 1,250 mm in length

Conventional lathes

  • up to DLZ 500 x 2000 mm

Grinding

When it comes to grinding, we machine all types of tempering steels up to a maximum of 58-60 HRC, as well as unhardened, non-alloy and low alloy steels.
For flat grinding, profile or plunge grinding we use vitrified-bonded profile grinding wheels.
Flat grinding using a CBN wheel is possible for materials of 58 HRC and above.
Bevelled edges or other geometries can be ground using an angle table (sinus table).

Laser welding

Our Nd-YAG laser welding machine enables repairs, modifications and reconditioning thanks to its pinpoint and accurate material deposition with minimal thermal distortion. All common steels are weldable, even when hardened to 60.

LaserCusing

The use of the M3 Linear LaserCusing machine with integrated ablation and labelling module enables the use of the ultra-modern laser sintering process to achieve conformal cooling with an assembly speed of up to 4cm3/h. A machining space of 300 x 300 x 350 mm is available. The materials we use are CL20ES (1.4404), CL50WS (1.2343).
